ABU, DUBAI: Subcompact crossover 2023 Toyota Agya and compact crossover 2023 Subaru Crosstrek have been introduced in Indonesia by two of the world’s leading automakers. Subaru offers the new Crosstrek in just one trim level (the 2.0 i-S EyeSight) while the new Agya comes in three (the GR Sport, the E, and the G).
Because it shares its DNGA platform with the Raize, Avanza/Veloz, and new Vios, the 2023 Toyota Agya is physically larger than its forerunner. It is mechanically and visually identical to the Perodua Axia and Daihatsu Ayla. The new Agya gets its power from a 1.2-liter three-cylinder DOHC Dual VVT-i gasoline engine. In addition, a D-CVT is available in place of the standard 4-speed automatic transmission to enhance the vehicle’s quickness, efficiency, and quietness.
LED Headlamps, 15-inch machined alloy wheels, hill start assist, immobilizer, alarm, speed-sensitive auto lock, vehicle stability control, SRS airbag, anti-locking brakes, Isofix, and rear parking sensors are just some of the high-quality features standard across all three Toyota Agya trim levels.
The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek is powered by a 2.0-liter ‘Boxer’ engine and features a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. It comes standard with the versatile X-Mode system and a long list of desirable features and options, including LED fog lights, a sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, a dual-zone climate control system, LED combination rear lights, and a 10-way power-adjustable seat. This one and only trim level benefits from leather upholstery, aluminum foot pedals, climate control for two separate zones, and an electronic parking brake.
The Subaru Crosstrek is equipped with cutting-edge driver aids like lane departure prevention, pre-collision throttle management, reverse automatic emergency braking, eight airbags, a high beam assist, autonomous emergency braking, lead vehicle start alert, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, preceding vehicle adaptive steering control, and lane centering control.
